Paper Prototyping
During paper prototyping i noticed some of the language used in the websites indicators or buttons might need developing.
A focused on feature during classwork was the turn back/return button, however that was when working with apps, the computer already has a turn back button on the tool bar on any browser, so i excluded it from my final paper prototype, except in the symptoms navigator window and options window, alot of the time when you return using the browser, the search results are gone, this is the odd time a website will have a return button.
The symptoms navigator is useful in many cases, especially physical illnesses, however its an optional tool, so i have included a skip navigator bar, this is for users with more delicate issues or problems they cant pin point. The final paper prototype shows the many routes a user could use to search, ie. the popular search buttons, the symptoms navigator, and skipping the symptoms navigator and manually searching the illness.
Alot of the websites features are discussed in the final paper prototypes commentary but was too distracting so i will discuss them in detail in the next stage 'wireframe GUI' along side screenshots and other visuals.
Like with project ones paper prototype i found colour coding useful, green for screen, orange for actions, yellow for 'Smiley' the helping tool.
